The story of Noble Nature encompasses a journey around the world. Our daughter-father founded company has its roots in our Uruguayan and Italian heritage.

Like so many origin stories ours starts with a family recipe spanning across 4 generations.

When my great-great grandfather migrated from Brescia, Italy to Uruguay with his family they added their Italian herbs and spices to the traditional recipes from their new home. One of these recipes was chimichurri sauce. His daughter, my great-grandmother continued the tradition teaching my Dad their secret chimichurri recipe. Her one condition: as the recipe is passed on from one generation to the next, it must be improved with a new flavour. Years later my Dad, as a young man, began experimenting with flavours and added his own touches to the recipe thus fulfilling his grandmother’s wishes.

Fast-forward to our home here in Australia where I’ve added a modern twist thus fulfilling my great-grandmothers’ wishes and created the first-of-its-kind chimichurri with an all natural umami flavour.

My great-grandmother was a visionary who thought beyond her time and understood the importance of allowing the newer generations to build on the family’s recipes with their own flair whilst still honouring tradition. Our chimichurri sauces honour both her vision and ours.
